October 26th, 2009

Inside this artical found at http://www.scientificamerican.com/blog/post.cfm?id=burning-bunnies-for-biofuel-2009-10-14  bunnies are used as biofuel in germany. Der spiegel said that stray rabbits are being shot, frozen and shiped off to a heating plant to be incinerated. So far this year over 3,000 bunnies have been killed compared to last years 6,000. the company Konvex s usually known for making automotive and heatng fuels from vegetable, animal oil, and fats are now rurnng slaughterhouses trimmings into biogs. (a metane fuel)

bunnies multiplu quite quickly so they use them but they also choose to use some ships dead cats, cows deer, and horses. Conoco Phillips and Tyson  came together to make biofuels from the fat of pork and chicken. Also a leftist activist group tried to convince the oil industry to use Vivolem (a fuel made of dead people) or of whales; although making biofuel from human fat is illegal in the U.S.

Do you think that we should use bunnies for biofuel?

Would you use a bunny in your fire place?

Should we consider using vivolem in the U.S.?
