Electric Cars, are they helping us become a greener planet?
Are electric cars going to help us become a greener planet? Yes, electric cars are going to be a contributor to a greener planet but we need to find better ways to power them than coal-fired power plants. If we continue to let them rely on coal-fired power plants in the long run fossil fuel autos will be better scientists say. If electric cars want to help the world become greener there going to have to stop using power fuel mix with coal or find a cleaner way to use the coal fuel. Half of U.S. power is generated by coal and its polluting the world we live in today. We need to start getting smarter and the electric powered car is a way but we need to find better ways to fuel them instead of using coal fuel. Electric cars have many benefits such as reducing imports of foreign fuel but that is not enough we are still polluting are atmosphere more than we should be. The materials in an electric car battery are hard to produce and that takes up more energy to make them. A report says that in 2030 electric cars will still cost more than gasoline powered cars and many Americans will still not be able to afford these cars if the trend of these cars continues to stay the same.

Ways I can contribute to a greener planet would be to start recycling all my cans and bottles. To make new things out of things you have all ready used is a good way to reduce waste and save more natural resorces the cans and botles came from.

I think that they will help us become a greener planet beacuse they are not polluting to the planet as much as most cars. I can help contribute to making this planet greener by recyling and doing my part.

Yes i do think that electric cars will help our planet be greener, and also more safe. When our world starts driving electric cars we will stop polluting the Earth. So yes, electric cars will help the Earth.

I believe to make the electric cars greener, we first need to make the source of electricity cleaner. We need to build more wind farms for one. Put them in as many places as possible. and two, we need to put up more solar panels. The best way to do this is to create giant glass(or plexyglass) domes out in the ocean and fill them with solar panels. create enough and you should be able to drive your new electric car anywhere you want without polluting at all. The only problem now is the cost….

I believe that electric cars could help us become a greener planet. But they aren’t going to be able to help if nobody can afford them. And then all of the energy that went into making these cars would have gone to waste. I would personally like to have one of these electric cars when I get older but I think that they need to make the producing of them a little cleaner first.

Some ways I can make the earth a greener planet is to recycle more often, turn of my light abd tv when im not in the room, unplung my chargers when I am not charging anything and take shorter showers. I think if we all take part in this the earth can be a greener planet.
