How to talk

November 5th, 2009

In Australia many woman have weak voices and men can barely speak above a whisper. People are saying this is due to a speaking disorder; there is a something going on with genetics. According to scientist this disorder has something to do with chromosomes. The arrangement of some chromosomes are arranged so that theire voice  brakes when a person speaks.

When this happens it is called tospeak. The gene does not have proteins and the RNA does not resemble the RNA function. RNA is an important function for the development of the larynx. The larynx is what abeles a person to talk. People with this disorder have small, short, and thick vocal chords that do not vibrate right. They also have many fused bones that could also be connected to this disorder. People that have this condition also can have fused finger joints and toe joints.

Studies have shown that this appeared in primates in early age. As the brain became more advanced the vocal chords loosened in humans. The loosened vocal chords is why humans can talk. That is why this condition is rare.

Do you think this condition started in early times or is it something new we just discovered?

What do you think life would be like if you couldn’t talk above a whisper?

Life would not be very good. Anyone and everyone that knows me knows I am an EXTREMELY loud person. I do not know how life would be like if I could only whisper.

I think it started in early times. I Think that it just wasn’t reported because it was rare and they did not know how to help them.
Life would change for everyone. The teachers would probably have to talk into a loud speaker to give their lessons for the day. The school halls would be a lot quieter tho!

I think this may be something that we’ve just discovered. But who really knows? It could have happend long ago. What would life be like if I couldn’t talk above a whisper? Well, it would be… hard. You would have to use your hands to communicate or something. Maybe writing. It would be very hard though.

If I couldnt talk above a wisper I would go crazy. I Wouldnt be able to yell when i was mad or if something bad was happed then no one would be able to hear me if i was hurt. I think that life would be hard if we couldnt talk louder than a yell.

If we couldn’t talk above a whisper people would have to be a lot closer to eachother when speaking. Sports would be very affected, since yelling is constant and required to communicate between on and off the field/court. It also could have started in early times and we have just discovered it.

I think that it might have been around for a while. Then again, if it has been around for a while, why didn’t anyone notice it? And if they did, why didn’t people look into it. I know that they may not have had the technology, but still….If we had to go through life talking in whispers, everything would be a lot quieter. But everyone’s hearing would be better if the whole world talked in whispers. Then again, there wouldn’t be music, because it’s hard to sing in a whisper…I think it would make life difficult.

I think that this has been around for a long time such as losing your voice only in a long term effect that lasts your lifetime. If people couldn’t talk above a whisper then their would be alot less noise in public places and alot less things would be like anouncements over a bullhorn would be heard very easily and music would be quieter making everything else seem extreemly loud if your ears are used to soft voices.

I think this probably started in earler times, but we just recently discovered this problem. My life only talking above a whisper would not give me the same life and energy I have especailly during sports when im always cheering and supporting my team.

Life would be pretty hard if i could not speak above a whisper. I am a talkative person when it comes to friends and close family. I would not be able to handle not talking loud.

I thinkt that this condition did start in the early times but we just got around to finding out about it and researching it. If I couldn’t talk above a whisper people would always be saying what and asking me to repeat what I said, it would get really annoying. I think I might go crazy.

I think that this condition started in early times. Nothing can just start up or begin from anything. Life would be terrible if we could only whisper!! We do need to realize that we take talking for granted.

I think this disorder started in early times, but we probably just now discovered it. I dont think life would be very enjoyable. We wouldnt be able to express our feelings very well. We would all have to keep to ourself.

I think that this is something that has always been around, and it just mainly in Australia, perhaps an evolutionary thing that came from the times when the Aboriginal people hunted. And if no one could talk in anything over a whisper, it would be much quieter, and probably easier to think.

I think it is probably something we just discovered but has been going on for a while. If I could barely speak above a whisper life would be horrible for me, I mean I’m known for my loud outgoing personality life would be way different without it.
