Write a Good Post

November 23rd, 2008

Students, follow these guidelines to ensure your post gets approved and published.

1. Make sure your content is related to Biology

2. Pick a titile that will grab your reader’s interest.

3. Make your post fun by including pictures, video and/or a podcast.

4. Include numerous links to websites with more information regarding the topic you are discussing. Your readers must research your topic to write teacher approved comments, so make it easier for them by providing links.

5. Make your feeling regarding the topic know. Why did you choose to write about that topic?

6. Ask you readers questions to encourage comments to your post?

7. Long Posts should be broken into multiple paragraphs. Don’t make a post too long or readers will lose interest.

8. Inspire, Motivate, Rant, Debate – whatever – just be passionate!

9. Always check your spelling and grammar.

10. Most importantly, abide by the blog rules listed in the blog and in your handout.
